Weaknesses of the Past
Those who wrote history were not always fair in evaluating people from the past. It is easy to criticize predecessors and attribute immaturity to them in order to highlight the achievements, intelligence, and abilities of modern man.
The mentality of ancient man was not rational and scientific; his artistic forms were unfinished, and his beliefs were a reflection of his desires and fears.
Clearly, this pre-logical man did not know, nor had a way of knowing, the Universe in which he lived, the Earth that gave him hospitality, nor the other stars and planets. He imagined a world to which natural forces breathed soul and life, and as he looked up at the sky in search of explanations, he also delved into the depths of the earth and imagined hell and indescribable monsters. Thus, rocks, trees, animals, air, and water were filled with terrifying or magnificent gods who were a reflection of everyday fears and desires, capricious gods to whom Attributing mastery over life, because the mathematical and natural laws governing it were not understood.
The stronghold of the present is collapsing.
Centuries have passed, and technological and scientific progress has brought a new perspective on the world. The Earth appears smaller as it has been discovered and explored from all sides, and there has been an increase in human feelings of power that have expanded into the stars. The conquest of space is merely an expression of the expansion of the human spirit, which feels it possesses the key to life. However, this technological progress does not bring happiness, nor internal and external security. Just like ancient humans, modern humans have begun projecting their fears and anxieties, although they do not turn them into deities with ideal characteristics. Instead, they idolize their vices and weaknesses in order to psychologically justify them.
Today, many mistakes can also be observed, and future generations may be unfair to us by equating our behavior with that of our ancestors. What will people think of our way of life in the future? Think about that. How many centuries? How much time has passed for us in pretending to be something we are not? Partly because we don’t know exactly what we are or who we are, partly because the power of fashion is imposed to such an extent that it needs to be followed even if we can’t identify with it. Or is it because of shame (or because we are incapable of taking action) that we haven’t overcome our fears and are therefore full of traumas? That we have freed ourselves from the prison of morality only to fall into the prison of everyday immoral behavior? That we have finally achieved living in a world without gods and without God, while celebrating false heroes and fictional characters? That we no longer value hierarchy and authority, and feel abandoned to ourselves, incapable of making decisions? That all the systems we try sooner or later prove to be failures and collapse, with a loud crash, because those implementing them are failing.
The Earth has become tight and uncomfortable: we need to direct our gaze towards other worlds…
Other worlds
It is obvious that people are not satisfied oily. For this or that reason, which, interestingly, I cannot distinguish, no one is satisfied with what they have or with themselves. Why? Or, simpler, where are the culprits? Can we admit that the problem lies within us, that we have taken the wrong path, chosen worthless goals, or perhaps used wrong means? We cannot, because it takes great courage to recognize and admit mistakes, and courage is not exactly a virtue of today.
Instead, the culprits or saviors become extraterrestrials. It is interesting to see the abundance of books, films, novels, and stories in which we find beings from other worlds in all possible forms. Sometimes the plot depicts helpless people, terrified in the face of evil and powers of beings from distant planets, sometimes it portrays horrific characters who only want to destroy humanity and devastate the Earth. These are always intelligent characters, capable of creating aircraft to cover astonishing distances, deadly weapons, computers that control everything; characters who defy death because they Nothing can harm me, or at least nothing that people use. They turn people into obedient slaves or guinea pigs for the strangest experiments. They are corrupt and dangerous, embodying evil in its purest form. In fact, they are a portrayal of all the problems we experience daily and can’t solve; that’s why we give aliens distorted, enormous heads and bodies… because they resemble our problems.
But sometimes the tables turn. To those who suffer on Earth, alien beings offer the possibility of salvation, because they have already overcome our problems and are ready to provide us with a permanent paradise if we leave this world and travel to theirs. They, the great and benevolent, come seeking the chosen ones, teaching a few, making their spaceships available to those who want and can achieve liberation… However, humans remain mere puppets under the control of those with stronger willpower; without the intelligence to understand and the courage to decide; all they can do is follow the marked path, without questioning, without dialogue, without looking back. On the contrary, there is a danger of it turning into stone.
Is the truth here or somewhere else?
As we can see, centuries quickly pass and much in our surroundings changes just as quickly, but the human soul progresses much slower. At times, it even seems to regress, and then it still receives a new push forward, but it is always with certain difficulties.
Objectively speaking, what is the difference between our ancient ancestors who spoke of other worlds and placed their gods in mysterious realms, and the mentality of today’s man who directs his fear and ignorance towards extraterrestrials endowed with supernatural powers? The difference is only in shade, it depends on the period and place.
In any case, ancient people did not always look towards the infinite universe out of despair. On the contrary, there are still traditional teachings that intelligently and deeply connect the development of all the planets in the solar system and establish their mutual interconnectedness and among The interconnectedness of beings that reside on them. The fact that they belong to the same system, or “body,” has led to the emergence of the concept – not without reason – that they are connected by relationships similar to those that connect organs in our body. Hence the sciences such as astrology, which relies on astronomy, alchemy, which supports the evolutionary processes of transformation, and other sciences from the same esoteric circle that today sleep more or less misunderstood – or misunderstood – on the shelves of dark libraries. But it also gives rise to many books and texts that attempt to revive them, although they often do not align with the original spirit of these teachings.
However, neither then nor now have these connections among worlds been, nor can they be, solutions to our problems. Everyone must master their own consciousness and manage their own will. No one can give anyone any of these gifts; the only thing that can be done for others is to mark the path and means to pass through it, to show the goal and front. The goal is the same for everyone. No one goes through the path or arrives at the goal instead of someone else.
The solution is, therefore, within us, in this world, in our world, no matter how connected it may be to other worlds and forms of life. Here are the criminals and here are the saviors: just look in the mirror. The war of galaxies exists within every person who is ready to fight against the shadows and monsters of evil; brave and determined heroes live in the hearts of those who, daring to fight, discover that they can do more than they imagined, but also that they have never used the abundance of energy and hope that fell into a state of lethargy, waiting for some kind of stimulus.
