The text is a story about a frog in an abandoned well talking to a giant turtle from the Eastern Ocean. The frog expresses its happiness and contentment with its simple life in the well, highlighting the joys it finds in its surroundings. The giant turtle, tempted by the frog’s description, tries to enter the well but gets stuck and realizes the vastness and depth of the ocean, ultimately returning to it. The dry seasons may come, but the ocean has not receded from its shores. Not being tormented by moments that flash and disappear, nor changed by centuries that pass, receiving much yet not growing, receiving little yet not diminishing – that is the great pleasure of the Eastern ocean.
